CWD 838 is a non-staining, oil-based compound, which forms
a clear, thin film that lubricates, prevents corrosion, displaces
and seals out moisture, penetrates and cleans. It can be
applied on all metal surfaces whether it is bare, painted or
plated.
CWD 838 has great penetrating power and lubricity to cut
through rust to loosen frozen parts and lubricate moving parts
without leaving a sticky residue. An ideal lubricant for precision
mechanisms as it will leave tolerances unchanged. Works well
as a moisture inhibitor and lubricant for hand tools and protects
equipment and parts from corrosion.
CWD 838 gives absolute protection to aluminium and copper
against plaster and cement burn and prevents adhesion of
these residues to various surfaces. Its excellent water
displacement properties prevent and protect against the
corrosive effects of fingerprints during handling.
Where atmospheric conditions are severe, repeated application
at regular intervals is recommended for storage over longer
period.
